We collaborate with zoos and aquariums to collect biological samples from endangered animals.

After the death of an animal, or during routine veterinary procedures, veterinarians collect small biological samples to generate cell lines and store them in our biobank.

Thanks to advanced scientific techniques and state-of-the-art facilities, we can keep cells frozen in a viable living state, preserving the genetic material so that they can be thawed and eventually used in future research to help biodiversity and the conservation of critically endangered species.
